About

Underdog is a project run by Lucile Bourliaud and Max Harding, who met when they were both working for Flatpack Festival (UK).

It’s a platform to showcase exciting work. It’s a place to share all-time favourites and new discoveries. It’s a good excuse to get in touch with artists we admire.

Expect a lot of short films and animation, with the occasional graphic novel or series recommendation.

Lucile Bourliaud

Lucile is a freelance short film programmer based in France.
She currently works with Brest European Short Film Festival and Nordisk Panorama. She likes going to festivals. She doesn’t like using social media, so not many people know about the festivals she goes to.

Max Harding

Max is (also) a freelance short programmer, still with Flatpack Festival. He spent a lifetime watching short films before he realised there were jobs where you can watch shorts for a (modest) living. He hasn’t been to many festivals, but is aiming to rectify that!
